T\u00e9 una carn amb una finor i una melositat caracter\u00edstiques i sense greixos excessius. Els pollastres i els capons s\u00f3n criats en explotacions ubicades en els termes municipals de Castelldefels, Cornell\u00e0 de Llobregat, el Prat de Llobregat, Gav\u00e0, Sant Boi de Llobregat, Sant Climent de Llobregat, Sant Feliu de Llobregat, Viladecans i Santa Coloma de Cervell\u00f3.
